The sad story of Wallace Siarkowski.

Wallace was also part of the Taskforce, as Private First Class in the 33rd armored regiment 3rd armored division.

He too experienced the encirclement of Marcouray and sadly, he lost his life there.

Being a Christian, his comrades buried him in a disaster behind the Marcouray church on December 22, 1944, two days before Christmas.

When the village was finally liberated, his remains were dug up and reburied in the temporary cemetery of Foy (near Bastogne)
